Hua Hin Town, Thailand

South of Bangkok, a 3-hr taxi ride from Suvarnabhumi airport is a small, charming town town called Hua Hin. 

Took this photo from our balcony at…4am? Notice the lack of street activity. 

Green Singapore

Orchard Road—even though it is the heart of urban Singapore (either this or Marina Bay?), lush greens are still all around.

Damnoensaduak Floating Market, Thailand

A vibrant market at the outskirts of Thailand. It’s such a shame that the floating market exists only for aesthetic rather than of utility. Locals don’t really shop for the market as it turned into a giant tourist spot. I think kitschy souvenir items have replaced the traditional things that the people in the area used to buy. Nonetheless, it was still a nice experience. 

Colored Merlion

To be honest, it’s way smaller than what I have imagined. Anyway, when we went, there was a symphony of lights color something show, which is why you’re seeing a colored Merlion. 

Changi Airport

Finally visited all the top 3 airports in the world! I think Changi is the best. Rooftop pool(!!!), butterfly park, movie theatre, sleeping pods, a plethora of shops. Will definitely choose SG as a stopover (when I go to… somewhere) just for the airport. Hihi.

Flying over Cambodia

My current Facebook cover photo. Took this on a flight from Manila to Bangkok; somewhere over Cambodia. I noticed that there was just a vast expanse of dry, deserted (read: borderline eerie) land.
